Edible
Book Contest
Mount Laurel Library is proud to announce our third annual Edible Book Contest to be held on Sunday, September 30th from 12-3 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library.
All are invited to use a love of literature and the
culinary arts to create an edible book.
The creation can look like a book, allude to a book’s title, refer to a
book’s content, or even involve a witty book pun.
Participants should register their entry by September 28
by calling the library or visiting the library’s online Events Calendar. On the day of the contest, entries should be
dropped off between 12 - 12:45 p.m. A
reception and voting on the entries will take place between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., and the winners will
be announced at 3 p.m. Prizes will be
awarded for the following categories:
Crowd Favorite
Most Creative Concept/Original
Idea
Most Likely to Be
Devoured/Tastiest Looking
Children 12 & Under
Not interested in creating an entry, but eager to be part
of the fun? Come enjoy the reception and
viewing of entries, and vote for your favorite.
Light refreshments will be served.
