Book and Media Sale

The Friends of the Mount Laurel Library Bargain Book & Media Sale will take place at the Mount Laurel Library from Wednesday, October 24 through Saturday, October 27.  Members of the Friends are invited to the Preview night on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:30 p.m.  New members are welcome to join then. The sale will be open to the public on Thursday from 12:00 – 8:30 p.m., Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Due to popular demand the Bag Sale will be held all day on Saturday; the Friends provide the bags. Fill a bag with books for $5.00.  Hard covers, VHS tapes, and audio books are $1.00, DVDs $3.00, and paperbacks $.50. All proceeds benefit the Mount Laurel Library.

 
The Friends of the Mount Laurel Library (FOL) is a non-profit group of volunteers dedicated to supporting the Library through fundraising activities and fostering positive relationships through community events and advocacy. John Clark’s Little Big Band




   
Thanks to a generous grant from Wegmans, John Clark’s Little Big Band will perform the swinging jazz sounds of the world’s most popular standards as well as beloved Big Band songs at Mount Laurel Library on Sunday, October 14 at 2 p.m.  This concert is free and open to the public.  No registration is needed.   

Musicians in this 7 piece band have worked and toured with some of the greatest talent in the world including: Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, The Four Freshmen and many, many others. They are joined by the talented vocalist, Paula Johns.

The Mount Laurel Library has a concert every month on the second Sunday of the month.  In November Tom Doyle and Sandy Cory will perform a Les Paul and Mary Ford tribute on Sunday, November 11 at 2 p.m.
